There is an insulin affordability crisis happening right now in the United States. Those living with Type 1 Diabetes CANNOT live without insulin. It is NOT an optional medication. Diabetes doesn’t just affect those who live with it, but their families and loved ones as well. These stories are gut-wrenching, especially to those who know what the impact of not having insulin can do to those living with diabetes.

Currently in the United States, for 1 vial of insulin it will cost between $300-400. In Canada, that same vial of insulin is $30-36. Bernie Sanders WILL take on the greed and corruption of the pharmaceutical industry.
