T1INTERNATIONAL - BE PART OF THE DIGITAL DEMONSTRATION!

Hey guys! As you know, it’s 100 years this year since the discovery of insulin, and @T1International are having a global digital demonstration campaign to highlight the severity of the insulin crisis.

I am contributing to this by creating an animation that I would love for you to be a part of!

Just post a photo of yourself with a poster like this – and tag @T1International and @MissDiabetes and you can see an illustrated version of yourself in the animation!

The animation will be part of T1International’s annual workshop on September 18th, so to give me enough time to create this, it would be great if you could get your photos in by September 10th!

Also, I will be giving away 5 custom portrait prints (giclée-printed)- of you doing your digital demonstration advocating for affordable insulin.

Some questions I have been asked about being part of the demonstration:

  • If you are Non-Diabetic, absolutely you can join us in our fight and be part of this demonstration! We would love this demonstration to reach people far and wide!
  • It doesn’t necessarily have to be a sign, you can be creative, put the words on your on omnipod, diabetes stuff, chalkboard, on a wall etc. as long as it’s a photo of you and the words you want to say are visible, go for it!!

More info on the demonstration is on the T1International website.

Looking forward to seeing all your photos! 💙💙

    Good Morning!

I’m happy to support this worthwhile initiative. This is a cause close to my heart. I have a brother living with type 1 diabetes, and many of our Divabetic community members are living with type 1 diabetes too. Thanks for everything you’re doing to bring greater awareness to the cause. I would like to invite you to be a guest on one of Divabetic’s upcoming podcasts. I have a photo for you!

    Max
