It was such an honour and privilege to do the illustrations for the World Health Organization’s campaign for World Diabetes Day! The WHO Global Diabetes Compact (WHO Unit dedicated to diabetes) worked hard to ensure this campaign reflected the voices of the global community living with diabetes. Based on a survey of 900 people taken earlier this year, the quotes are from people living with diabetes, and I came up with characters to visually represent these quotes.  

World Diabetes Day is the world’s largest diabetes awareness campaign reaching a global audience of over 1 billion people in more than 160 countries.
