Nothing more disappointing than watching a Netflix show and hearing diabetes stigma. @wednesdaynetflix did just that, with a line commenting on a Fudgery, saying it was like “diabetes in a box”.

We are in an insulin crisis and diabetes stigma is having a major impact on people with diabetes getting access to life-saving medication.

It’s time we call out media, streaming platforms, “comedians”, film & tv directors, producers, scriptwriters and public figures to STOP DIABETES STIGMA. It’s not even funny, and would you make fun of someone with cancer? No? Then why are you making “jokes” about people with diabetes?😐
